Qurbani

In years past, live lambs were brought into the masjid grounds on the day of the Eid-al-Adha for the specific purpose of qurbani. In 2006, this did not occur. Perhaps next year, inshallah.

How can I help the masjid?

Due to high demand from island residents wishing to learn Islam, the masjid has a shortage of Qur'an translations, booklets, pamphlets, etc. (particularly materials written in the Spanish language; there is a large Spanish-speaking population on St. Maarten) You can help the masjid by bringing with you any of the aforementioned materials and donating them to the masjid.
